A used RTX 3080 or 3090 listed well under market on eBay usually sells within minutes. To get one, you need to see it before everyone else watching the same card. You also need your alerts not to be full of laptop GPUs, box-only listings and dead cards sold "for parts".
These are the realistic options in 2026, based on each tool's own published pages as of November 2026. One of them is ours, and we say so where it matters.
The short version
| Tool | Watches | How you get alerts | How fast | GPU junk filtering | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| eBay saved searches | eBay | Email digest, eBay app push | Email roughly daily; app push faster but unpredictable | Minus words in the query only | Free |
| AutomatedSearches | eBay | Email, text message | Not stated | Not described | Free account |
| uBuyFirst | eBay | Desktop app | "Sub-second" (their claim) | General custom filters | 30-day trial, no public price |
| PCTechSniper (formerly GPU Sniper) | Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, Walmart | No automated alerts; staff-picked pings in their Discord | Prices refreshed every 5 minutes | Not applicable | Free |
| CresvaMent | eBay | Discord, email | eBay checked every 45 seconds; Discord in under a minute on paid plans | Laptop GPUs, mining rigs and lots, box-only and for-parts listings | Free for 1 tracker |
eBay saved searches
Free and built in. The problem for GPUs is timing: saved search emails come as a digest, roughly once a day, and app push isn't reliable enough to bet on. You can type minus words into the search (-laptop -"box only" -"for parts"), but there's no seller-feedback threshold on the alert and no way to tell a desktop "RTX 3070" from a laptop "RTX 3070" except by guessing keywords.
Good for: watching a rare card you're in no hurry for.
AutomatedSearches
A free web service for email and text-message alerts on eBay saved searches, favorite sellers, price drops and ending-soon auctions. It doesn't describe filtering beyond the search itself, so you'll handle laptop and parts-only listings by hand.
Good for: text alerts on a broad search, if you don't mind sorting the junk yourself.
uBuyFirst
Desktop software for professional eBay resellers. It claims sub-second notifications and offers custom filters, with alerts in a desktop app. There's a 30-day free trial; pricing isn't published.
Good for: full-time flippers who work at a desk across many categories.
PCTechSniper
GPU Sniper now redirects to PCTechSniper. It's a price comparison site for new parts at Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg and Walmart, refreshed every 5 minutes, with some used listings shown. It doesn't send automated alerts. Its FAQ points you to its Discord, where staff ping recommended deals. It doesn't watch eBay.
Good for: comparing new-card retail prices, not catching used eBay listings.
CresvaMent
Full disclosure: this is us. CresvaMent checks eBay's computer and parts firehose every 45 seconds and matches each new listing against your trackers.
- Delivery: Discord (an embed with photo, price, condition and a direct link) and email. On Pro and Ultra, Discord alerts are real time, usually under a minute after the listing appears. On the free plan, Discord alerts are bundled hourly and email every 4 hours.
- GPU junk filters you switch on: laptop GPUs listed as graphics cards, mining rigs and multi-card lots, box-only or photo-only listings, and parts/broken cards (including eBay's "For parts or not working" condition). These are curated phrase lists we maintain, so a new seller wording gets fixed for every tracker at once.
- Model-number discipline. Ready-made trackers for each card keep a 3080 tracker from matching a 3080 Ti, and the reverse. A new tracker can start from any card's deal page in one click.
- Filters you control: include and exclude keywords, price range, eBay condition, free shipping only, and minimum seller feedback score and percentage.
- Live price context: the used GPU price index and each card's page show current asking prices for used, new and refurbished, so you can set a maximum based on today's market. These are asking prices from live listings, not sold prices.
- Price: free for 1 tracker, Pro $9.99/month for 10, Ultra $39.99/month for 50.
Where it falls short: it watches eBay only, and the maximum price applies to the item, not item plus shipping. Turn on "free shipping only" if you want an all-in cap.
Good for: buyers and flippers who want a phone alert within a minute and no laptop GPUs in the feed.
How to choose
- Is it used or new? New retail cards: a retail price tracker like PCTechSniper. Used cards on eBay: one of the eBay-watching tools.
- How fast do good listings sell? For popular cards at a good price, minutes. That rules out daily digests. You want sub-minute alerts (CresvaMent paid plans or uBuyFirst).
- Where do you want the alert? Phone via Discord: CresvaMent. Desktop: uBuyFirst. Inbox or text: AutomatedSearches or eBay.
- How much junk can you tolerate? Laptop GPUs and parts-only cards make up a large share of broad GPU searches. Filters built for that save the most time.
