eBay Listing Red-Flag Checker

Paste an eBay listing and we'll scan its title, condition, seller feedback, item location and description for the patterns that burn buyers: box-only listings, for-parts items, laptop GPUs sold as desktop cards, mining and modded cards, reproductions, and brand-new seller accounts. What the checker looks for

  • Not the actual item. Box-only, empty-box, manual-only and "not included" listings, plus single components (cooler, shroud, backplate) sold under a product's full name.
  • May not work. "For parts", "not working", "no display", "untested" and "as-is" in the title, and eBay's "For parts or not working" condition.
  • Not an original. Reproductions, bootlegs, replicas and counterfeits. Titles that deny it ("not a repro") aren't flagged.
  • Graphics-card traps. Laptop and mobile GPUs, display-less mining SKUs (P104, P106, CMP), memory-modded boards, and titles that mention mining. "Never mined" and "not a mining card" count as a disclaimer, not a flag.
  • Seller track record. Fewer than 10 feedback ratings, or under 95% positive, is a red flag. Under 100 ratings or 98% gets a note.
  • Context notes. Lots and multi-packs, stock photos, "read the description" titles, items located outside the US, and description text that mentions defects or missing parts.

Every check runs through the same listing filter that powers our alerts. One eBay lookup per check; results for the same listing are reused for a few minutes. Listings with multiple variations (sizes, colours, models) can't be read yet.
