Exact model identity. This feed is the Apple Silicon Mac mini with the base M1 chip. Don't rely on the title: ask for a screenshot of About This Mac, which names the chip and shows installed memory and storage. Intel-era minis and the later M2 and M3 generations are excluded by title, but a seller can still mislabel one, so check the screenshot before paying.

Configurations & value. One model, many price points. Memory and storage are chosen at purchase and sellers list both, so the same mini can be asking very different amounts depending on the combination. Larger memory and larger storage push the price up. Treat the 8GB / 256GB listings as the baseline and judge a premium by what it adds, not by the headline. Bundles with a keyboard, mouse or stand raise the asking price without changing the machine.

Traps seen while tuning.

• Locked or "for parts" minis at very low prices sit beside working units. The feed's guards remove most of them, but a bargain far below the pack deserves a question about activation and MDM status.
• Mislabelled titles, such as a listing naming an unrelated older year next to "M1", turn up now and then. The feed excludes the obvious ones, not every mistake.
