Dell OptiPlex 7050 Micro — Price Guide & Live Deals

OptiPlex 7050 Micro: buyer & reseller spec sheet

Telling it apart. The 7050 was sold in more than one chassis, and this page covers only the Micro, Dell's smallest. Sellers also call it Tiny, MFF or Micro Form Factor; those are the same machine. A listing for a 7050 SFF is a larger, different box, and neighbouring models (7040, 7060, 7070) are different machines even when the title lists several. Confirm the model name on the system-info screen or the label, and the form factor in the photos, rather than trusting the title.

What moves the price. Processor tier, memory and storage drive the spread, and it is wider than the gap between conditions. An i7 with 16GB or more and an SSD asks well above an i5 with 8GB and a small drive. Whether a power adapter and an operating system are included also shifts asks. Refurbishers often list many configurations under one title with a range such as "8-32GB RAM", so the displayed price is for an unspecified configuration; ask which one ships before comparing.

Traps seen while tuning. Most results for this model name are power adapters, drive caddies, fans, heatsinks, antennas, motherboards, stands and multi-model compatibility titles. The category filter and title rules remove them. Some sellers list a few units as a lot, or sell units with no drive, which the page leaves out. A few third-party sellers ask far above the typical price for a spec with a small amount of RAM and a hard drive.
