How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one model. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different model that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 54 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 18 of 54 (~33%) for quality reasons. The remaining 36 are what we'd actually surface.
- 8 listed in the wrong eBay category (an accessory or part, not the item)
- 5 caught by a junk-listing guard
- 4 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
- 1 priced above the curated ceiling
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q returns far more than the model itself: chargers, cases, replacement screens, logic boards and locked machines all mention it in their titles. These are the 5 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q because they are: that's the noise.

ThinkCentre M720q: buyer & reseller spec sheet
Identity. The M720q is a Tiny-form-factor business desktop. Sellers often write only "M720q" in the title, so confirm the model on the lid or the bottom label in the photos. Several sibling Tiny models share the same case and look nearly identical, and listings for them frequently name the M720q only as a compatible part. The live feed only shows listings titled with the M720q itself.
Configurations & value impact. One title can cover very different machines. The processor is listed in the title, and a higher tier generally costs more. More memory and a larger SSD raise the price, and a machine sold with no storage, no memory or no operating system sells for less. Many refurbished sellers use a single multi-option listing ("8-32GB RAM, 256GB-2TB SSD") where the asking price follows whichever option is selected, so open the listing and compare the configuration to the price before treating it as a deal. Check whether the power adapter is included, because some used listings say "No AC".
Traps seen while tuning. Searches for this model are dominated by riser cards, brackets, fans, antennas, adapters and motherboards that name the M720q for compatibility. Multi-unit lots and "3x" listings also appear, and their price covers several machines.
Buying a used desktop PC: what to check
These checks apply to every model on our desktop PC pages. The item notes above cover what is specific to this model.
Used
- Ask for a screenshot of the system information showing the exact CPU, graphics card, memory and storage. Listings often name the top configuration of a model line.
- Ask whether a BIOS or firmware password is set. A locked BIOS can make the machine impossible to reinstall or upgrade.
- Confirm Windows is activated, or price in a license if it isn't.
- For a laptop, ask for a battery report (powercfg /batteryreport on Windows) showing design versus current capacity.
Refurbished
- Find out who refurbished it (the manufacturer or a third party), how long the warranty is, and whether the battery or storage was replaced.
New
- Check the box is sealed and register the serial for warranty as soon as it arrives.
