The PM983 is Samsung's enterprise PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD line, and the 3.84TB capacity is sold in more than one physical form. Check the form factor first, because the same capacity ships as a 2.5-inch U.2 drive, an M.2 22110 stick and an M.3 (NF1) module. Your board or adapter has to physically and electrically match, and a title that just says "PM983 3.84TB" does not tell you which one you are getting.
The model code in the title is the quickest check. MZQLB3T8HALS and MZ-QLB3T80 refer to the U.2 drive. MZ1LB3T8HMLA and MZ-1LB3T80 refer to the M.2 22110 version. MZ4LB3T8 and MZ-4LB3T80 refer to the M.3 version. Match the code against the photo of the drive label rather than trusting the headline.
PM983 vs PM983a. The "a" suffix is a different model. This feed excludes titles that say PM983a, so you will not see them here.
Wear is the main unknown on a used drive. These are datacenter pulls, so ask the seller for a SMART screenshot showing data written and percentage used. Some listings quote a health percentage in the title, but you can only confirm it from the screenshot.
