How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one game. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different game that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 12 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 9 of 12 (~75%) for quality reasons. The remaining 3 are what we'd actually surface.
- 6 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
- 2 shipped from a region we exclude
- 1 priced below our floor (too good to be true)
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for Project Justice (Dreamcast) returns far more than the game itself: controllers, T-shirts, strategy guides, imports and repro carts all mention it in their titles. These are the 92 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to Project Justice (Dreamcast) because they are: that's the noise.

Project Justice: collector & reseller spec sheet
- Release & saves. Capcom's Dreamcast 3D team-fighter, the sequel to Rival Schools. Progress saves to a Dreamcast memory card, not the disc. Check that the product code on the disc and back insert matches the US release.
- Same game, different region. Japan's version is titled Moero! Justice Gakuen, and sellers often write both names, plus "Rival Schools 2", into one title. "NTSC-J", "obi", "spine card" or "Japanese" mark a Japanese disc, which won't boot on a US console without a region workaround. PAL copies are also sold under "Rival Schools 2". The feed leaves these out, but a few titles with no region words can still be imports, so check the disc and spine in the photos.
- Print variants. An early-run retail print and later reprints may exist. Ask the seller for photos of the disc and back insert rather than paying a premium on a print claim alone.
- Not the game. Strategy guides, guidebooks and promo posters carry the full game name in the title. Confirm the listing is the disc itself, not just a cover and manual.
Buying Dreamcast games: what to check by condition
These checks apply to every Dreamcast disc. The item notes above cover what is specific to this game.
Loose (disc only)
- Ask for a clear photo of the data side under light. Light surface scratches usually play; deep or circular scratches often don't.
- Check the label art and the printing in the center ring against a known-authentic disc. Burned copies and reprinted labels are the main fakes.
- "Resurfaced" means the disc was polished. It is usually fine to play but worth less to collectors.
CIB (complete in case)
- Confirm the case, front art and manual are all shown, and that the art matches the disc's region.
- Cracked cases are cheap to replace; missing or reprinted cover art and manuals are what cost money.
- For multi-disc games, make sure every disc is pictured.
Sealed & graded
- For a graded copy, look the certification number up on the grading company's own site and confirm the photos match the slab you are buying.
- For an ungraded sealed copy, compare the wrap and seal pattern against a known factory-sealed example. Resealing is common, and a reseal on a loose game is worth a loose price.
- Ask for photos of every side, the seams and any price stickers. Refusing extra photos on a sealed listing is a red flag on its own.
