- Release and saving: developed by Insomniac Games and released for PS3 in 2009 (US). Progress saves to the console's hard drive, not the disc, so there is no save battery to fail. Check that the product code on the disc and case is the US one.
- Print variants: both a Black Label and a Greatest Hits print circulate, and sellers name them in titles. For loose and complete copies condition matters more than print; compare case art in the photos against the print you want rather than trusting the title alone.
- Title confusion: sellers write "Ratchet & Clank Future" with or without the colon. It is a different game from Tools of Destruction, and two-game listings pairing them show up.
