How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one game. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different game that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 45 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 17 of 45 (~38%) for quality reasons. The remaining 28 are what we'd actually surface.
- 9 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
- 7 caught by a junk-listing guard
- 1 seller had too few feedback ratings
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters (PSP) returns far more than the game itself: controllers, T-shirts, strategy guides, imports and repro carts all mention it in their titles. These are the 107 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters (PSP) because they are: that's the noise.

Size Matters: collector & reseller spec sheet
- Release and saving: a handheld Ratchet & Clank developed by Insomniac Games for the PSP, released in 2007 (US). It ships on a UMD and saves to the PSP's Memory Stick, so there is no save battery in the disc. Check that the product code on the disc and case matches the US (NTSC-U/C) release.
- Print variants: an original print and a later Greatest Hits budget reprint both circulate, and sellers also write "Black Label" in titles. Sealed copies are the price outliers; for loose and complete copies, condition matters more than the print. Match the case art in the photos to the print you want rather than trusting the title.
- Loose means UMD only: many listings are a bare disc. Ask whether the case and manual are included before paying a complete-copy asking price.
- Listing traps: PAL and other-language copies (Essentials, Platinum, Italian and German versions) are listed under the same name, and the feed rejects titles with that wording. Bundles with other PSP games, including the sequel Secret Agent Clank, are rejected too, as are promo, demo and not-for-resale discs.
Buying PSP games: what to check by condition
These checks apply to every PSP UMD. The item notes above cover what is specific to this game.
Loose (UMD only)
- Ask for photos of both sides of the UMD, including the disc surface visible through the shell's window. Deep scratches there can stop it reading.
- Check the plastic shell for cracks or a loose half, and the label for peeling or wear.
- Compare the label art against a known-authentic copy. Reprinted labels are the main fake.
CIB (complete in case)
- Confirm the case, front art and manual are all shown, and that the art matches the UMD's region.
- Cracked cases are cheap to replace; missing or reprinted cover art and manuals are what cost money.
Sealed & graded
- For a graded copy, look the certification number up on the grading company's own site and confirm the photos match the slab you are buying.
- For an ungraded sealed copy, compare the wrap and seal pattern against a known factory-sealed example. Resealing is common, and a reseal on a loose game is worth a loose price.
- Ask for photos of every side, the seams and any price stickers. Refusing extra photos on a sealed listing is a red flag on its own.
