How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one game. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different game that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 18 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 6 of 18 (~33%) for quality reasons. The remaining 12 are what we'd actually surface.
- 4 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
- 2 shipped from a region we exclude
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for Pandora's Tower (Wii) returns far more than the game itself: controllers, T-shirts, strategy guides, imports and repro carts all mention it in their titles. These are the 90 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to Pandora's Tower (Wii) because they are: that's the noise.

Pandora's Tower: collector & reseller spec sheet
- Which release this is. This page tracks the North American Wii release, published by XSeed in 2013 after the game's earlier Japanese launch. Region-specific listings (Japanese, PAL/European) are kept off the feed, since the Wii is region-locked and they won't play on a US console.
- Save mechanism. It is an optical disc, so there is no save battery to fail. "Tested" means the disc reads and plays; check the listing photos for scratches on the data side.
- Print variants. A standard retail release and a Limited Edition listing both appear. Compare like with like, and if a listing doesn't say which one it is, check the photos or ask before paying a premium.
- Listing traps. Case-only, manual-only and "no game" listings carry the game's name and are common; the feed rejects the ones that say so in the title. Graded sealed copies (WATA/CGC) sell in a separate, much higher tier, so don't compare their asks with an ungraded sealed copy.
Buying Wii games: what to check by condition
These checks apply to every Wii disc. The item notes above cover what is specific to this game.
Loose (disc only)
- Ask for a clear photo of the data side under light. Light surface scratches usually play; deep or circular scratches often don't.
- Check the label art and the printing in the center ring against a known-authentic disc. Burned copies and reprinted labels are the main fakes.
- "Resurfaced" means the disc was polished. It is usually fine to play but worth less to collectors.
CIB (complete in case)
- Confirm the case, front art and manual are all shown, and that the art matches the disc's region.
- Cracked cases are cheap to replace; missing or reprinted cover art and manuals are what cost money.
- For multi-disc games, make sure every disc is pictured.
Sealed & graded
- For a graded copy, look the certification number up on the grading company's own site and confirm the photos match the slab you are buying.
- For an ungraded sealed copy, compare the wrap and seal pattern against a known factory-sealed example. Resealing is common, and a reseal on a loose game is worth a loose price.
- Ask for photos of every side, the seams and any price stickers. Refusing extra photos on a sealed listing is a red flag on its own.
