How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one game. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different game that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 691 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 509 of 691 (~74%) for quality reasons. The remaining 182 are what we'd actually surface.
- 453 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
- 19 seller had too few feedback ratings
- 10 shipped from a region we exclude
- 9 caught by a junk-listing guard
- 9 seller positive-feedback percentage too low
- 5 priced above the curated ceiling
- 4 wrong condition (e.g. parts-only)
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) returns far more than the game itself: controllers, T-shirts, strategy guides, imports and repro carts all mention it in their titles. These are the 118 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) because they are: that's the noise.

Twilight Princess: collector & reseller spec sheet
- Same game, two platforms. Twilight Princess shipped on both Wii and GameCube. This page tracks the Wii disc only; the GameCube version has its own page at Zelda: Twilight Princess (GameCube), and it sells at a very different asking price. A Wii title with "GameCube" in it is a different product.
- Print variants. An original-run retail print and a later Nintendo Selects budget reprint both exist. Sellers tag the Selects copy in the title, and asking prices usually differ between the two. Look at the cover and spine for the Selects marking rather than trusting the seller's label.
- Region lock. Japanese-region Wii discs are region-locked and will not boot on a US console. Confirm the listing says NTSC-U/C or shows a US rating mark before buying.
- Listing trap. Empty cases, disc-only listings and manual-only listings often reuse the full game title with the word "only" buried in the text. Read the whole title and the condition notes for what is actually in the box.
Buying Wii games: what to check by condition
These checks apply to every Wii disc. The item notes above cover what is specific to this game.
Loose (disc only)
- Ask for a clear photo of the data side under light. Light surface scratches usually play; deep or circular scratches often don't.
- Check the label art and the printing in the center ring against a known-authentic disc. Burned copies and reprinted labels are the main fakes.
- "Resurfaced" means the disc was polished. It is usually fine to play but worth less to collectors.
CIB (complete in case)
- Confirm the case, front art and manual are all shown, and that the art matches the disc's region.
- Cracked cases are cheap to replace; missing or reprinted cover art and manuals are what cost money.
- For multi-disc games, make sure every disc is pictured.
Sealed & graded
- For a graded copy, look the certification number up on the grading company's own site and confirm the photos match the slab you are buying.
- For an ungraded sealed copy, compare the wrap and seal pattern against a known factory-sealed example. Resealing is common, and a reseal on a loose game is worth a loose price.
- Ask for photos of every side, the seams and any price stickers. Refusing extra photos on a sealed listing is a red flag on its own.
