Dell Latitude 7420 — Price Guide & Live Deals

Dell Latitude 7420: buyer & reseller spec sheet

Identity. The Latitude 7420 is a business laptop with a 14 inch class screen; some sellers write 13.9 instead of 14 for the same machine. Confirm the exact model on the Dell label or system-info screen rather than the title. Many parts and accessories list "7420" alongside other Latitude numbers, and the feed requires the exact "Latitude 7420" phrase.

Configurations and value. Price follows the build. Processor tier, memory size and SSD capacity move it most, and more of each costs more. Touch and non-touch panels both appear, as do listings that mention a 2-in-1, so check what the photos show. Some refurbishers list a range such as 256GB-2TB SSD in one listing; the asking price usually reflects the base option, so confirm the exact spec before buying.

Traps seen while tuning.

• Batteries, bezels, palmrests, screens and chargers that name the 7420 sit in the same search. The feed filters them by eBay category and title.
• Machines sold with no SSD or hard drive, for parts, or with a stated battery issue are filtered, so a very cheap listing outside the feed deserves a closer look. Multi-unit lots are left out as well.
