Exact SKU identity. The 3700X is an 8-core, 16-thread desktop processor for the AM4 socket. It has no integrated graphics, so it needs a separate graphics card. The part number printed in most of this feed's titles is 100-000000071; the boxed version appears as 100-100000071BOX. Confirm the model printed on the chip in the photos, not just the title.
Near-names that are different chips. The plain Ryzen 7 3700 (no X) turns up in imported listings. The 3800X and 3800XT are also separate chips. This feed requires "3700X" in the title and rejects the 3700, 3700XT, 3800X, 3800XT, 3900X, 5700X and 5800X names as standalone words. Newer chips such as the Ryzen 7 5800X3D fit the same socket but are different, pricier parts.
Variants & value impact. Many listings include the Wraith Prism cooler it shipped with, others say "CPU only" or "no fan". Compare asking prices within the same bundle, and check the listing says what is in the box.
Listing traps seen while tuning. Titles that list several chips at once ("3700X 3800X 5700X 5800X..."), where you can't tell which one you'd receive. Motherboards and whole PCs that name the 3700X as the headline part. Cooler-only and heatsink-only listings that carry the CPU name. The feed excludes all of these. Bent pins are the classic fault on AM4 chips, so ask for close photos of the pin side.
