The Ryzen 7 5800X3D is AMD's 8-core, 16-thread desktop processor for the AM4 socket with 3D V-Cache: extra L3 cache stacked on the chip, for 96MB in total. It's the upgrade many AM4 owners look at because it drops into an existing board. On eBay, "5800X3D" also matches other AM4 and AM5 chips, whole gaming PCs, CPU-and-motherboard combos, and motherboards that just name it as a compatible CPU. This page filters a live eBay feed down to single 5800X3D processors from US sellers with established feedback.

Which Ryzen 7 5800X3D you're actually buying

The 5800X is a different chip. The Ryzen 7 5800X has the same name minus "3D". It's a cheaper chip without the stacked cache. The only difference in a title is those two characters, and some sellers write the name with a space ("5800X 3D"). Check the Processor Model field in the item specifics and the model printed on the chip in the photos. The chip should say 5800X3D.

Other X3D chips aren't this one either. The Ryzen 7 5700X3D is a separate AM4 chip, also with 3D V-Cache, and it lists right next to this one. The 7800X3D and 9800X3D are for AMD's newer AM5 socket and won't fit an AM4 motherboard. This feed excludes all of them.

Part numbers. The part numbers quoted in this feed's listings all contain the same model code, 651. Examples are 100-000000651 and 100-100000651WOF, some with a different suffix. If a listing quotes a part number without it, ask the seller.

The item specifics are often incomplete. In the listings behind this page, the Processor Model field was often blank or held a placeholder like "Not Available", "NONE" or "Details In Description". Some listings put the part number there instead. A blank field doesn't mean the listing is wrong, but it does mean the photos are your real evidence.

"10th Anniversary Edition." Many new listings use this name, and their item specifics give the same Processor Model as the standard boxed chip. We couldn't verify from the listings alone what, if anything, sets this edition apart. Its asking prices varied widely in the data behind this page. Compare it against the standard New listings before paying extra for the name.

Used vs refurbished vs new Ryzen 7 5800X3D

Used is a large part of this market. Used CPUs are usually sold as the bare chip in a plastic clamshell, sometimes in the original box. Whether the box comes with it accounts for part of the price spread within Used.

Refurbished is thin for this chip. If a listing says refurbished, ask who refurbished it and what the warranty covers. A processor has little to refurbish, so the warranty is most of what you're paying for.

New and Open box listings are also common. Compare a New asking price against the Used table before paying for the seal. The gap between the two is what the seal is costing you.

Whole PCs. Gaming towers built around a 5800X3D list under the processor's name, because the CPU is the headline part. They're excluded by title wording and by the price ceiling.

CPU-and-motherboard combos. Many listings sell the chip with a motherboard, RAM or both. They're excluded because the price covers more than the processor. If you need a board as well, this page's prices won't tell you whether a combo is a good deal.

Motherboards that name the chip. Motherboard listings often add "Support R7 5800X 3D" to their titles as a compatibility note. They aren't processors, and this feed doesn't show them.

Sellers outside the US. Much of the raw supply for this search ships from overseas, often in near-identical listings at identical prices. This feed only shows US-located sellers. It also requires established seller feedback and excludes listings openly sold as broken, untested, for parts, or with bent or missing pins.

Ryzen 7 5800X3D: before you buy

Any condition. Confirm your motherboard's BIOS supports the 5800X3D before you buy. Older AM4 boards may need an update first, so check your board maker's CPU support list for your exact model. The 5800X3D has no integrated graphics, so you'll need a separate graphics card. Don't assume a cooler is included; the listing should say what's in the box.

Used. AM4 processors have their pins on the chip itself, and a bent pin is the most common way a used CPU goes wrong. Ask for sharp, close-up photos of the pin side, not stock images. Check that it's packed in a clamshell or foam, not loose in an envelope. Ask whether the seller tested it in a working system, and confirm they accept returns.

Refurbished. Establish who refurbished it and what the warranty is, as above.

New / Open box. Ask for photos of the seal and the box label showing the part number. For open box, ask why it was opened.
