Nitrobike: collector & reseller spec sheet
- Release and save. Ubisoft released Nitrobike for the US PlayStation 2 in 2008, late in the console's life. Check that the product code on the disc and case matches a US reference photo rather than trusting the title alone.
- Print variants. Check the label against a known authentic photo before paying extra for a claimed reprint or variant. Sealed copies ask the most; the sealed price is mostly condition and seal, not a variant.
- Listing trap: PAL copies. European and Italian copies are listed under the same "Nitro Bike" title and often say "PAL" only in the description or the last words of the title. They won't play on a US console, so confirm NTSC-U/C before you buy.

CIB (complete in case)
- Confirm the case, front art and manual are all shown, and that the art matches the disc's region.
- Cracked cases are cheap to replace; missing or reprinted cover art and manuals are what cost money.
- For multi-disc games, make sure every disc is pictured.
Sealed & graded
- For a graded copy, look the certification number up on the grading company's own site and confirm the photos match the slab you are buying.
- For an ungraded sealed copy, compare the wrap and seal pattern against a known factory-sealed example. Resealing is common, and a reseal on a loose game is worth a loose price.
- Ask for photos of every side, the seams and any price stickers. Refusing extra photos on a sealed listing is a red flag on its own.
