Thousand Arms: collector & reseller spec sheet
- Release and saving. Atlus published the US release on PlayStation in 1999 as a two-disc game. It saves to a standard PS1 memory card, so there is no cartridge battery to worry about. Check that the product code on the discs and spine matches the US release rather than a Japanese copy.
- Two discs. A complete copy has both. Single-disc ("Disc 2 only") and "discs only" listings are common, so confirm the title and photos say both discs before treating an asking price as a full-game price.
- Extras. Some complete copies are listed with a registration card and a lenticular card. Treat those as extras worth asking about with photos, not as something every copy has.

- For multi-disc games, make sure every disc is pictured.
Sealed & graded
- For a graded copy, look the certification number up on the grading company's own site and confirm the photos match the slab you are buying.
- For an ungraded sealed copy, compare the wrap and seal pattern against a known factory-sealed example. Resealing is common, and a reseal on a loose game is worth a loose price.
- Ask for photos of every side, the seams and any price stickers. Refusing extra photos on a sealed listing is a red flag on its own.
