How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one game. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different game that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 18 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 10 of 18 (~56%) for quality reasons. The remaining 8 are what we'd actually surface.
- 7 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
- 2 shipped from a region we exclude
- 1 seller had too few feedback ratings
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for Misadventures of Tron Bonne (PS1) returns far more than the game itself: controllers, T-shirts, strategy guides, imports and repro carts all mention it in their titles. These are the 92 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to Misadventures of Tron Bonne (PS1) because they are: that's the noise.

Tron Bonne: collector & reseller spec sheet
- Discs and saves. The Misadventures of Tron Bonne is a single-disc Capcom game for the PlayStation, released in North America in 2000 as a spin-off of the Mega Man Legends series. US discs carry
SLUSproduct codes. Progress saves to a PlayStation memory card; nothing is stored on the disc. - Complete means more than a case. A complete copy normally has the case, manual and registration card. Listings often spell out "reg card" and "demo" separately, so read which items are named. Asking prices for complete copies sit far above disc-only listings.
- Japanese copies posted without a region. The Japanese release is titled Tron ni Kobun and is cheaper. It won't run on an unmodified US console. The feed drops listings that use the Japanese title and US-region-blocked sellers, but check for the
SLUSprefix on the disc or spine. - Artwork and manual-only listings. Printed inlays, replacement covers and standalone manuals use the game's name and are often priced like a game. The feed filters the ones that say so; read the title and photos for a disc.
Related: Mega Man Legends and Mega Man Legends 2.
Buying PlayStation games: what to check by condition
These checks apply to every PlayStation disc. The item notes above cover what is specific to this game.
Loose (disc only)
- Ask for a clear photo of the data side under light. Light surface scratches usually play; deep or circular scratches often don't.
- Check the label art and the printing in the center ring against a known-authentic disc. Burned copies and reprinted labels are the main fakes.
- "Resurfaced" means the disc was polished. It is usually fine to play but worth less to collectors.
CIB (complete in case)
- Confirm the case, front art and manual are all shown, and that the art matches the disc's region.
- Cracked cases are cheap to replace; missing or reprinted cover art and manuals are what cost money.
- For multi-disc games, make sure every disc is pictured.
Sealed & graded
- For a graded copy, look the certification number up on the grading company's own site and confirm the photos match the slab you are buying.
- For an ungraded sealed copy, compare the wrap and seal pattern against a known factory-sealed example. Resealing is common, and a reseal on a loose game is worth a loose price.
- Ask for photos of every side, the seams and any price stickers. Refusing extra photos on a sealed listing is a red flag on its own.
