How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one part. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different part that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 11 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 10 of 11 (~91%) for quality reasons. The remaining 1 are what we'd actually surface.
- 7 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
- 3 priced below our floor (too good to be true)
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for NVIDIA A100 80GB PCIe returns far more than the part itself: laptop chips, mining rigs, coolers, empty boxes and whole PCs all mention it in their titles. These are the 74 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to NVIDIA A100 80GB PCIe because they are: that's the noise.

A100 80GB PCIe: buyer & reseller spec sheet
SKU identity. This page tracks the 80GB PCIe card, a passively cooled datacenter accelerator with no display outputs. It is not the SXM4 module, which is a different form factor that needs an SXM baseboard and will not fit a PCIe slot. It is also not the 40GB A100, and not the A100X, a separate converged card that pairs the GPU with a DPU. Confirm the form factor from the photos (an edge-connector card with a PCIe fingered slot, not a module with mezzanine connectors) and the memory size from the item specifics, not just the title.
Variants & value impact. Part numbers and OEM labels (a Dell-branded card, for example) can appear on otherwise identical cards. Asking prices differ by seller type and condition, so compare like with like. Because these cards are passively cooled, check that your chassis supplies directed airflow.
Listing traps. Some sellers title SXM4 modules or "converted" boards with "PCIe" in the name. Treat any listing that names both SXM4 and PCIe with suspicion and ask for a photo of the actual card. Water blocks and housings that carry the A100 name also show up in searches. Listings that mention ECC errors describe a card with a known fault.
Buying a used graphics card: what to check
These checks apply to every card on our graphics-card pages. The item notes above cover what is specific to this model.
Used
- Ask for a screenshot of a monitoring tool (such as GPU-Z) showing the exact model and memory size, plus a stress test or benchmark run with temperatures visible.
- Ask whether the card was used for mining. Mining wear is mostly fans and thermal pads, which are fixable, but it should be disclosed and priced in.
- Check the photos for bent fins, missing screws, broken fan blades and damaged power connectors.
- Confirm whether the manufacturer warranty transfers. It varies by brand and is tied to the serial number.
Refurbished
- Find out who refurbished it (the manufacturer or a third party) and how long the warranty is.
- Ask what was replaced. A repaste and new pads is routine; a replaced core or memory is not.
New
- Check that the box is factory sealed and the serial on the box matches the card, so warranty registration works.
- Very low prices on "new" cards from new seller accounts are the most common scam on this category.
