Exact SKU identity. The Tesla P40 is a Pascal-generation datacenter compute card with 24GB of GDDR5. It is not a GeForce card, and it is a different product from the Tesla P4, P100 and M40. Those names show up in the same searches, so confirm the model on the card's label in the photos, not just in the title. The feed requires P40 and 24GB in the title and rejects titles naming the M40, P100, K80, V100 or A40.
Variants & value impact. Listings carry different OEM labels and part numbers (Dell, HPE and plain NVIDIA numbering all appear). Treat the label as a sourcing clue and compare asking prices on the card's condition and what ships with it. The P40 is built for server airflow and has no display outputs. Many sellers bundle a fan or blower kit so it can run in a desktop case. A listing with the cooling solution included is a different purchase from a bare card, so check the photos for how the fan is attached. Confirm the power cable you need, and that your PSU can supply it, against the exact listing.
