NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB — Price Guide & Live Deals

The RTX 3060 12GB is the original desktop RTX 3060, with 12GB of GDDR6. It's a common card on eBay, and most of the listings for it are used. This page filters a live eBay feed down to US sellers with established feedback. It excludes the 8GB version, the RTX 3060 Ti, laptop GPUs, parts-only and broken cards, whole systems, multi-card lots and loose cooler parts, so what's left is single, working 12GB desktop cards.

Which RTX 3060 you're actually buying

"RTX 3060" covers several different products on eBay, and the title doesn't always tell you which one a listing is.

12GB vs 8GB. NVIDIA later added an 8GB desktop RTX 3060. It's a separate version, not just the 12GB card with less memory, and the two list side by side in the same searches. An 8GB card priced a little under the 12GB ones can look like a deal on the 12GB card. This page covers the 12GB card only. Sellers write the memory size several ways: "12GB", "12 GB", or just "12G" in a model name like "Ventus 2X 12G". The 8GB card shows up as "8GB" or "8G" in the same places. Many partner model codes carry the size too. EVGA's 12GB XC part number begins 12G- and ASUS codes include O12G. If a title leaves the memory size out ("ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Phoenix V2"), check the Memory Size field in the listing's item specifics or ask the seller. This feed only shows listings whose title states 12GB.

The RTX 3060 Ti is a different card. It's a higher-tier SKU that shows up right next to the 3060 in search results, and retail 3060 Ti cards have 8GB of memory. Some listings are titled "RTX 3060 Ti 12GB". That combination doesn't match either card as sold at retail, so ask the seller which card it actually is and get a photo of the label. Board partners. Partner cards from ZOTAC (Twin Edge, AMP White Edition), MSI (Ventus 2X and 3X, Gaming X, Gaming X Trio, AERO ITX), ASUS (Dual, TUF Gaming, Phoenix), Gigabyte (Windforce, Gaming OC, Vision, Eagle, AORUS), EVGA (XC) and PNY (XLR8, Verto) all appear in this feed. They differ in cooler, clocks and, most importantly, physical size. Single-fan and ITX models are much shorter than triple-fan ones. Check the specific model's dimensions against your case.

OEM cards are a real share of supply. Cards pulled from HP (including Omen), Dell and Lenovo prebuilt systems sit next to retail partner cards. They're often titled just "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB" with the system brand or an OEM part number attached. They're genuine 3060s, but their cooler, bracket and warranty situation differ from retail cards, and some are listed without a mounting bracket. Ask where the card came from, whether the bracket is included, and what warranty remains, if any.

LHR and Non-LHR. Many 3060 listings say "LHR" in the title and some stress "Non-LHR". LHR versions were designed to limit crypto-mining performance. For gaming, that label isn't what separates a good buy from a bad one. A title that leads with "Non-LHR" does suggest the seller is marketing to mining or compute buyers, though, and that's worth a question about how the card was used.

Used vs refurbished vs new RTX 3060

Used is most of this market. The spread of asking prices within Used comes largely from the board-partner model, whether it's a retail or OEM card, and whether the box is included, not just from the card's condition.

Refurbished listings carry eBay's graded labels, such as "Excellent - Refurbished". Some resellers also put their own grade in the title (for example "Grade B") while listing under plain Used. Either way, the grade reflects whoever did the refurbishing, which may be the manufacturer or may be the seller. Ask which, and ask what warranty comes with it.

New and Open box both appear regularly. New listings span a wide range of asking prices, and the top of that range is well above what used cards ask. Treat a "new" RTX 3060 as something to check rather than assume (see the checklist below), and compare it against the Used and Refurbished buckets in the table before paying the new-in-box premium.

What this RTX 3060 feed filters out, and why

Every pattern below showed up in the live listing data while this page's filter was being built.

Laptop GPUs sold under the desktop name. This is the most expensive mistake on this search. Gaming laptops with a mobile "RTX 3060" appear alongside desktop cards (Dell G15, Alienware m15, ASUS Zephyrus, Lenovo Legion, MSI GF65, Razer Blade and many more), and many don't say "laptop" in the title. The tell is the memory figure. Laptop listings in this search describe the chip as "6GB" or give no GPU memory size at all, and when you see "16GB" or "512GB" in those titles it's the laptop's RAM or storage. Laptop motherboards with the GPU soldered on, and laptop cooling fans, also list under "RTX 3060". None of them is a desktop card. This page excludes laptops, MXM modules and external GPU docks.

Parts, coolers and boxes carrying the full card name. Empty retail boxes, replacement fans, heatsinks and mounting brackets all list under "RTX 3060". So do cards openly sold as not working, untested or for repair. None of them is a working card. This feed removes them by title and by a price floor.

Whole systems. Gaming PCs and prebuilt towers list under GPU searches because the GPU is the headline part. If the title also names a CPU, system RAM, storage or an operating system, you're looking at a computer, not a card.

Overseas listings. A large block of 3060 listings ships from outside the US. That includes cards described as "unused" or "unopened" while listed under eBay's "Used" condition, often at asking prices far above the rest of the market, and blower-style "Turbo" cards with inconsistent titles. This page is restricted to US item locations and has a price ceiling, so they don't appear here. If you see one elsewhere, the mismatch between title and condition is reason enough to ask questions.

RTX 3060: before you buy

Any condition. Confirm the exact board-partner model and the memory size, not just "RTX 3060". Ask for photos of the actual card, including the power connector and the I/O bracket, rather than stock images. Confirm the seller accepts returns.

Power and fit. The power connector and recommended power-supply headroom depend on the specific model. Check both against the model in the listing, confirm your PSU has the matching cable, and check the card's length and slot width against your case, especially if you're choosing between a compact and a triple-fan model.

Used. This card sold through the crypto-mining boom, so ask directly how it was used and for how long. Ask whether it has ever been opened, repasted or re-padded. A card serviced by someone who can tell you what they did is often a better buy than one nobody has looked at. On an OEM pull, ask whether it came out of a working system and whether the bracket is included.

Refurbished. Establish who did the refurbishment and what the warranty is. "Refurbished" with no warranty and no named refurbisher is really just "used".

New / Open box. For a card this far past its launch, a sealed unit deserves a closer look. Check the seller's history and other listings, and ask for photos of the seal and the serial label. For open box, ask why it was opened and whether all original accessories are present. A "New / Damaged Box" listing can be a fair deal, but confirm the card itself was never installed.

On price. Read the price table by condition bucket rather than anchoring on the single lowest number in the feed. A cheap listing is more often a less sought-after partner model, an OEM pull, or a card without its box than a bargain on the same card.
