How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one part. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different part that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 400 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 353 of 400 (~88%) for quality reasons. The remaining 47 are what we'd actually surface.
- 298 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
- 22 seller had too few feedback ratings
- 15 caught by a junk-listing guard
- 5 seller positive-feedback percentage too low
- 5 priced above the curated ceiling
- 4 shipped from a region we exclude
- 2 wrong condition (e.g. parts-only)
- 2 priced below our floor (too good to be true)
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for NVIDIA RTX 5090 32GB returns far more than the part itself: laptop chips, mining rigs, coolers, empty boxes and whole PCs all mention it in their titles. These are the 93 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to NVIDIA RTX 5090 32GB because they are: that's the noise.

RTX 5090: buyer & reseller spec sheet
Exact SKU identity. The desktop RTX 5090 is the 32GB GDDR7 card. Every desktop 5090 carries that memory size, so a listing that shows a different capacity is not the card you want. Confirm the model in the photos or a GPU-Z screenshot rather than the title.
Variants & value impact. The Founders Edition and partner boards (ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, Zotac and others) share the same GPU, but asking prices differ by board. Flagship and liquid-cooled models are usually listed well above the plainer air-cooled ones, so compare like with like. A card sold with its original box and accessories is easier to resell later. Check that the connector and cooler on the exact model fit your case and power supply before you buy.
Traps seen while tuning.
- Laptop and prebuilt listings. Gaming laptops, desktops and "AI workstation" PCs are titled "RTX 5090" and priced far below a bare card. A laptop 5090 is a different, mobile chip. They are not cards, and the feed filters them out.
- Stripped boards. Boards sold "for parts" with "no core and VRAM" carry the full model name at a small fraction of a working card's asking price.
The China-market 5090D is a separate product and is excluded here. For the previous generation, see the RTX 4090.
Buying a used graphics card: what to check
These checks apply to every card on our graphics-card pages. The item notes above cover what is specific to this model.
Used
- Ask for a screenshot of a monitoring tool (such as GPU-Z) showing the exact model and memory size, plus a stress test or benchmark run with temperatures visible.
- Ask whether the card was used for mining. Mining wear is mostly fans and thermal pads, which are fixable, but it should be disclosed and priced in.
- Check the photos for bent fins, missing screws, broken fan blades and damaged power connectors.
- Confirm whether the manufacturer warranty transfers. It varies by brand and is tied to the serial number.
Refurbished
- Find out who refurbished it (the manufacturer or a third party) and how long the warranty is.
- Ask what was replaced. A repaste and new pads is routine; a replaced core or memory is not.
New
- Check that the box is factory sealed and the serial on the box matches the card, so warranty registration works.
- Very low prices on "new" cards from new seller accounts are the most common scam on this category.
