How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one part. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different part that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 24 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 15 of 24 (~63%) for quality reasons. The remaining 9 are what we'd actually surface.
- 4 caught by a junk-listing guard
- 4 shipped from a region we exclude
- 3 seller had too few feedback ratings
- 2 priced above the curated ceiling
- 1 wrong condition (e.g. parts-only)
- 1 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for NVIDIA RTX A4500 20GB returns far more than the part itself: laptop chips, mining rigs, coolers, empty boxes and whole PCs all mention it in their titles. These are the 86 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to NVIDIA RTX A4500 20GB because they are: that's the noise.

RTX A4500: buyer & reseller spec sheet
Confirming the SKU. This page tracks the RTX A4500 with 20GB of memory. The feed requires both A4500 and 20GB in the title, so a listing that omits the memory size never appears here. Check the memory size in the item specifics and in a GPU-Z screenshot rather than trusting the title. The nearest professional cards in the same family are a different purchase: the RTX A4000 16GB sits below it and the RTX A5000 24GB above it, and the feed rejects titles naming either.
Naming and part numbers. Sellers write RTX A4500, Quadro RTX A4500 or just A4500; these are all the same card. Listings carry either a PNY retail part number or an OEM one (Dell and Lenovo boards both appear). OEM and retail boards are interleaved across the price range, so price alone won't tell you which you are getting. Ask whether an OEM card has been tested in a generic desktop and not only in the chassis it came from.
Traps seen while tuning. Whole workstations (HP Z-series, Dell Precision towers) list under this card's name because the GPU is the headline part. They carry CPU, RAM and drive specs in the title and sell at several times the price of the card alone, so the feed rejects them. A large cluster of near-identical new and open-box listings ships from China; the feed is limited to US item locations, and also requires established seller feedback, which drops some legitimate new sellers along with the rest.
Buying a used graphics card: what to check
These checks apply to every card on our graphics-card pages. The item notes above cover what is specific to this model.
Used
- Ask for a screenshot of a monitoring tool (such as GPU-Z) showing the exact model and memory size, plus a stress test or benchmark run with temperatures visible.
- Ask whether the card was used for mining. Mining wear is mostly fans and thermal pads, which are fixable, but it should be disclosed and priced in.
- Check the photos for bent fins, missing screws, broken fan blades and damaged power connectors.
- Confirm whether the manufacturer warranty transfers. It varies by brand and is tied to the serial number.
Refurbished
- Find out who refurbished it (the manufacturer or a third party) and how long the warranty is.
- Ask what was replaced. A repaste and new pads is routine; a replaced core or memory is not.
New
- Check that the box is factory sealed and the serial on the box matches the card, so warranty registration works.
- Very low prices on "new" cards from new seller accounts are the most common scam on this category.
