How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one part. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different part that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 18 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 11 of 18 (~61%) for quality reasons. The remaining 7 are what we'd actually surface.
- 9 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
- 1 priced above the curated ceiling
- 1 shipped from a region we exclude
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for NVIDIA RTX A1000 8GB returns far more than the part itself: laptop chips, mining rigs, coolers, empty boxes and whole PCs all mention it in their titles. These are the 97 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to NVIDIA RTX A1000 8GB because they are: that's the noise.

RTX A1000: buyer & reseller spec sheet
Confirm the exact card. The RTX A1000 is a low profile workstation card with 8GB of memory, and it is a different product from the RTX A2000 and the smaller RTX A400. This page tracks listings that name the A1000 and 8GB in the title, so a listing that leaves the memory size out will not appear here. Check the model printed on the card or shown in a GPU-Z screenshot, not only the title. For a step up, see the RTX A2000 12GB.
Retail and OEM boards. Supply is mostly new. Listings show up as PNY retail boards and as Dell, HP or Lenovo OEM pulls, often identified by a part number in the title. They are the same GPU, but the bracket can differ (low profile or full height), so check which bracket is included and that it fits your case. Asking prices for retail-boxed and OEM cards can differ.
Traps seen while tuning.
- Laptops and whole workstations (Dell Precision, ThinkPad, HP Z2, ThinkStation) list the A1000 as a headline spec. A listing with a CPU and storage in the title is a computer, not a card. The A1000 also exists as a laptop GPU, which is a different part.
- Many listings name the A1000 with no memory size in the title. Confirm the memory in the item specifics before buying.
Buying a used graphics card: what to check
These checks apply to every card on our graphics-card pages. The item notes above cover what is specific to this model.
Used
- Ask for a screenshot of a monitoring tool (such as GPU-Z) showing the exact model and memory size, plus a stress test or benchmark run with temperatures visible.
- Ask whether the card was used for mining. Mining wear is mostly fans and thermal pads, which are fixable, but it should be disclosed and priced in.
- Check the photos for bent fins, missing screws, broken fan blades and damaged power connectors.
- Confirm whether the manufacturer warranty transfers. It varies by brand and is tied to the serial number.
Refurbished
- Find out who refurbished it (the manufacturer or a third party) and how long the warranty is.
- Ask what was replaced. A repaste and new pads is routine; a replaced core or memory is not.
New
- Check that the box is factory sealed and the serial on the box matches the card, so warranty registration works.
- Very low prices on "new" cards from new seller accounts are the most common scam on this category.
