How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one part. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different part that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 132 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 81 of 132 (~61%) for quality reasons. The remaining 51 are what we'd actually surface.
- 18 priced above the curated ceiling
- 17 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
- 15 seller had too few feedback ratings
- 13 seller positive-feedback percentage too low
- 8 caught by a junk-listing guard
- 5 priced below our floor (too good to be true)
- 4 shipped from a region we exclude
- 1 wrong condition (e.g. parts-only)
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for RX 5700 XT 8GB returns far more than the part itself: laptop chips, mining rigs, coolers, empty boxes and whole PCs all mention it in their titles. These are the 71 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to RX 5700 XT 8GB because they are: that's the noise.

RX 5700 XT: buyer & reseller spec sheet
Exact SKU identity. The RX 5700 XT is an 8GB card, and its closest sibling is the plain RX 5700, which also carries 8GB. Sellers sometimes list the two together, or flash an RX 5700 with an XT BIOS and say so in the title. The feed requires "5700 XT" in the title and drops listings that mention an XT BIOS on a plain 5700. Confirm the model on the card's sticker or in a GPU-Z screenshot, not in the headline. The professional Radeon Pro W5700 is a different workstation card that borrows the number, and the feed skips it.
Variants & value impact. Partner boards differ in cooling and build quality, and a few are collectible. The AMD reference blower ("Founders Edition" in many titles) and the 50th Anniversary edition draw their own asking prices, often above the common models. Check the photos for the exact board so you compare like with like. For a step down in price and performance, see the RX 6600 XT 8GB.
Listing traps. Replacement fans and coolers carry this card's full model name in the title, so the feed rejects "cooling fan" and "heat pipes" listings. Full gaming PCs advertise the card in the headline, and the listing guards remove them. Look for the fault disclosure on any card sold "as is".
Buying a used graphics card: what to check
These checks apply to every card on our graphics-card pages. The item notes above cover what is specific to this model.
Used
- Ask for a screenshot of a monitoring tool (such as GPU-Z) showing the exact model and memory size, plus a stress test or benchmark run with temperatures visible.
- Ask whether the card was used for mining. Mining wear is mostly fans and thermal pads, which are fixable, but it should be disclosed and priced in.
- Check the photos for bent fins, missing screws, broken fan blades and damaged power connectors.
- Confirm whether the manufacturer warranty transfers. It varies by brand and is tied to the serial number.
Refurbished
- Find out who refurbished it (the manufacturer or a third party) and how long the warranty is.
- Ask what was replaced. A repaste and new pads is routine; a replaced core or memory is not.
New
- Check that the box is factory sealed and the serial on the box matches the card, so warranty registration works.
- Very low prices on "new" cards from new seller accounts are the most common scam on this category.
