NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti 11GB — Live Deals & Price Guide

The RTX 2080 Ti is old enough now that its used market has split into two very different things: ordinary cards being sold on by their original owners, and a long tail of dead, stripped, modified and rebadged boards that all carry the same five characters in the title. This page filters a live eBay feed down to US sellers with established feedback, requires the words "2080 Ti" rather than just "2080", and excludes salvage listings, memory-modified cards, multi-card lots and accessories.

Which card you're actually buying

The desktop RTX 2080 Ti is an 11GB GDDR6 card, and unlike some of its generation it did not ship in competing memory sizes at retail. That makes the memory figure a useful authenticity check rather than a variant choice — if a listing says anything other than 11GB, it is telling you something important.

Confirm the memory size in the listing's item specifics, not the title. One quirk worth knowing: eBay's own catalog records this field inconsistently, so you will see it written both as "11GB" and as "11 GB" on otherwise identical cards. Both are the same thing. What matters is that the number is eleven.

The 22GB modified cards are a different product

This is the single most common way to get confused on this card. A substantial trade exists in RTX 2080 Ti boards that have been reworked with double the memory and sold as 22GB cards, almost always marketed at AI, CUDA, rendering or deep-learning buyers rather than gamers. They are usually explicit about it in the title, and they ask noticeably more than an ordinary used 11GB card.

These are real, functioning products for the people who want them. They are also not a stock RTX 2080 Ti, they were not built by the board partner whose name is on the cooler, and they carry no manufacturer support. This feed excludes them so the price table reflects stock cards. If you are shopping eBay directly and a "2080 Ti" is priced well above the ordinary used band, check the memory figure first.

The same-generation siblings share the name

The non-Ti RTX 2080 is an 8GB card, and the RTX 2080 Super is a separate same-generation part. Both share the "2080" string with what you are shopping for, and both are cheaper. This feed requires "2080 Ti" specifically, so they cannot appear here — but on a general eBay search they will, and a 2080 listed at a tempting price is frequently just not a Ti.

Board partner, cooler and form factor

Founders Edition is NVIDIA's own card. Partner models from EVGA (XC, XC2, FTW3, Black Edition), MSI (Gaming X Trio, Ventus, Duke, Aero), Gigabyte and AORUS (Xtreme, Windforce, Turbo, Gaming OC), ASUS (ROG Strix, Dual, Turbo), ZOTAC (AMP, AMP Extreme), PNY, Palit, Leadtek and GALAX all appear regularly in this feed. They differ in cooler design, physical size and clock behaviour rather than in memory capacity.

Three form factors show up often and are worth telling apart:

• Open-air multi-fan cards — the common enthusiast design.
• Blower / "Turbo" style cards — single centrifugal fan exhausting out the bracket. These run louder but tolerate cramped and multi-card cases better.
• Factory liquid-cooled cards — EVGA Hydro Copper, AORUS Waterforce and MSI Sea Hawk variants appear, some as all-in-one units with an attached radiator. These need somewhere to mount that radiator; check your case before buying one.

Confirm the power connector against the exact model in the listing, and confirm your PSU has the matching cables. Connector configuration varies between board partners and between models within a partner's range, so do not assume one card's arrangement applies to another. Likewise, budget PSU headroom above the reference figure rather than trusting a number quoted for a different model, and check the card's physical length and slot width against your case — partner cards of this generation vary a lot in size.

Used vs refurbished vs new

Used is the overwhelming bulk of this market and where essentially all the value is. A card of this age that has been gaming-used is not inherently compromised, but it has had a long life, and the questions below matter more here than they would on a recent card.

Refurbished listings carry eBay's graded condition labels. The grade describes cosmetic and functional state as assessed by whoever did the refurbishment — which may be the manufacturer, but on a card this old is much more often the seller. Several refurbished listings in this feed advertise a seller-backed warranty, which is worth real money on hardware this age. Ask who refurbished it and what the warranty actually covers.

New on this page also includes Open box — for a component, open box means unused but unsealed, so the two are shown together rather than split into chips that would not help you decide. Genuinely new old stock does still surface for this card, and it tends to ask a large premium over used. Whether that premium is worth paying on a card that has been sitting in a warehouse for years is a judgement call; the silicon does not improve with age, though an unused cooler and fresh thermal paste are worth something.

What this feed filters out, and why you should care

Every pattern below came out of the live listing data while this page's filter was being built.

A large supply of dead and dying cards. This is the defining feature of the 2080 Ti market and the biggest difference from a newer card. Listings titled "NOT WORKING", "FOR PARTS", "Artifacts", "No Display", "Display Port Issue" and "PARTIALLY WORKS" are abundant, often clustered from sellers moving many at once, and priced at a fraction of a working card. Some of them do not say so in the title at all and only reveal it in eBay's condition field. This feed excludes them on both the title and the condition dropdown — but if you browse eBay directly, a 2080 Ti priced far below the rest of the market is this, almost every time.

Accessories carrying the model name. Mounting brackets, PCIe power adapters and NVLink/SLI bridges all put "RTX 2080 Ti" in their titles because that is what they are compatible with. They are cheap enough to be obvious once you look at the price, and they are filtered out here.

Multi-card lots. Listings for two or four cards at a combined price sit alongside single cards, sometimes bundled with an NVLink bridge. The per-unit arithmetic can look excellent until you notice the quantity.

Whole systems and prebuilt pulls. Complete builds list under GPU searches because the GPU is the headline component. Listings that advertise themselves as system pulls are excluded. Note that OEM and system-origin cards still appear in this feed — Dell/Alienware-branded boards and cards pulled from compact prebuilts are legitimate listings, but some use proprietary coolers, mounting or radiator arrangements that assume the chassis they came from. If a card looks unusual, confirm it is a standard PCIe card before buying.

Overseas listings priced as though domestic. A very large cluster of near-identical overseas listings exists for this card — same handful of titles, repeated many times, mostly labelled "Open Box". This page is filtered to US item locations, partly for shipping and returns, and partly because that cluster is where rebadged and misdescribed boards concentrate.

Mining is a live question on this generation, unlike on newer cards. The clearest evidence is in the listings themselves: sellers of ordinary used cards routinely volunteer "NO MINING" in their titles, which is not something you see on recent hardware. That disclaimer is a reasonable signal in the seller's favour, and this feed is careful not to penalise it — but its prevalence tells you the question is worth asking on any card of this age.

Before you buy

Any condition. Confirm the exact board-partner model, not just "RTX 2080 Ti". Ask for photos of the actual card — including the I/O bracket and the power connectors — rather than stock images. Confirm the seller accepts returns, which matters more on hardware this old than on anything recent.

Used. Ask how long the seller owned it, what it was used for, and whether it has ever been opened, repasted or had its thermal pads replaced. On a card of this age a repaste is a good sign rather than a bad one — original thermal paste from this era is long past its useful life. Ask directly whether the card has ever shown artifacting, crashing or display dropouts, and ask for a photo of it running something demanding rather than just sitting at a desktop. Given how much dead inventory exists for this specific card, "tested, works" deserves a follow-up question about how it was tested and for how long.

Refurbished. Establish who did the refurbishment and what the warranty is. "Refurbished" with no named refurbisher and no warranty is just "used" with extra words. Where a warranty is offered, ask what it covers and who honours it.

New / Open box. For sealed cards, ask why it is still sealed and check the seller's other listings. For open box, ask why it was opened and whether the original accessories are present. Manufacturer warranties on a card of this generation are long expired regardless of how the box looks.

On price. The spread between the cheapest and most expensive listing on this page at any moment is wide, and most of that spread is condition, board-partner model and seller optimism rather than a bargain waiting to be taken. Read the price table by condition bucket rather than anchoring on the single lowest number in the feed — and on this card in particular, treat an unusually low asking price as a question rather than an opportunity.
