How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one part. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different part that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 520 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 489 of 520 (~94%) for quality reasons. The remaining 31 are what we'd actually surface.
- 445 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
- 14 caught by a junk-listing guard
- 10 seller had too few feedback ratings
- 8 shipped from a region we exclude
- 7 priced above the curated ceiling
- 3 seller positive-feedback percentage too low
- 2 priced below our floor (too good to be true)
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for GTX 1660 6GB returns far more than the part itself: laptop chips, mining rigs, coolers, empty boxes and whole PCs all mention it in their titles. These are the 80 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to GTX 1660 6GB because they are: that's the noise.

GTX 1660: buyer & reseller spec sheet
Confirm the exact SKU. The plain GTX 1660 is a 6GB card. Two near-names share the listing space: the GTX 1660 Super and the GTX 1660 Ti. Both are different, faster cards that sellers regularly abbreviate ("1660S", "1660Ti") or tuck into the title. The feed requires "GTX" and "1660" in the title and rejects titles naming Super, S or Ti. Ask for a GPU-Z screenshot showing the device name rather than trusting the title or the box.
Variants and value. Partner boards from different brands and OEM pulls from prebuilt PCs are the same GPU. Asking prices differ mostly by condition, cooler and whether the original box is included. Because the feed does not require "6GB" in the title, confirm the memory size in the listing's item specifics.
Listing traps seen while tuning.
- Titles that mix names, such as a plain 1660 listing that also says "Ti" in the part number or "1660S level". The feed rejects these, so they are not shown as plain-1660 deals.
- Laptop and motherboard listings that name the chip, plus full gaming PCs, replacement cooling fans and empty retail boxes. The feed rejects these.
Buying a used graphics card: what to check
These checks apply to every card on our graphics-card pages. The item notes above cover what is specific to this model.
Used
- Ask for a screenshot of a monitoring tool (such as GPU-Z) showing the exact model and memory size, plus a stress test or benchmark run with temperatures visible.
- Ask whether the card was used for mining. Mining wear is mostly fans and thermal pads, which are fixable, but it should be disclosed and priced in.
- Check the photos for bent fins, missing screws, broken fan blades and damaged power connectors.
- Confirm whether the manufacturer warranty transfers. It varies by brand and is tied to the serial number.
Refurbished
- Find out who refurbished it (the manufacturer or a third party) and how long the warranty is.
- Ask what was replaced. A repaste and new pads is routine; a replaced core or memory is not.
New
- Check that the box is factory sealed and the serial on the box matches the card, so warranty registration works.
- Very low prices on "new" cards from new seller accounts are the most common scam on this category.
