The RTX 3080 Ti sits between the RTX 3080 and the RTX 3090 in NVIDIA's 30-series desktop range, with 12GB of GDDR6X. On eBay it shares its name with a laptop chip that has a different memory size, shares its memory size with a non-Ti RTX 3080 variant, and shares its model number with a wall of replacement fans. This page filters a live eBay feed down to single, working desktop 3080 Ti cards from US sellers with established feedback. It requires the title to say "3080 Ti" (or "3080Ti"), and it excludes laptops and laptop boards, whole PCs, parts-only and broken cards, multi-card lots, coolers, fans, boxes and cables.

Which RTX 3080 Ti you're actually buying

The desktop card is 12GB GDDR6X. Every passing listing while this page was built that stated a memory size said 12GB, and most said GDDR6X. Confirm both in the listing's item specifics, not just the title.

A "3080 Ti" with 16GB is the laptop chip. The mobile RTX 3080 Ti is a different, weaker part that ships soldered to laptop system boards, and sellers list those boards and whole laptops under the desktop name. While this page was built, a Dell Precision laptop board titled "RTX 3080Ti 16GB Video card" was priced inside the desktop card's range, and several gaming laptops (Alienware x17, ThinkPad P1, ROG Strix Scar 17) carried "RTX 3080 Ti 16GB" in their titles. This feed excludes 16GB and the laptop vocabulary. If you shop eBay directly, a 16GB memory figure, a CPU model in the title, or words like "mainboard" and "system board" all mean you are not looking at a desktop card.

The RTX 3080 12GB is the sibling that memory size can't separate. NVIDIA also sold a non-Ti RTX 3080 with 12GB, so "12GB GDDR6X" appears on both cards. Several non-Ti 3080 12GB listings (Gigabyte Gaming OC, MSI Ventus 3X Plus, ASUS TUF, EVGA FTW3) sat right next to the Ti cards in the raw results. This feed requires the "Ti" in the title, so those don't appear here, but a careless title can still mislabel a card either way. Check the Chipset/GPU Model field in the item specifics and the model code printed on the card or box. A 3080 Ti that isn't a 3080 Ti is an expensive mistake in one direction and a missed bargain in the other.

Board partners. NVIDIA's Founders Edition appears regularly, alongside EVGA (FTW3 Ultra, FTW3 Ultra Hybrid, XC3 Ultra, XC3), ASUS (TUF Gaming, ROG Strix), Gigabyte (Gaming OC), MSI (Gaming X Trio), ZOTAC (AMP Holo, Trinity OC), PNY (XLR8 Revel) and Dell OEM pulls. They differ in cooler, size and clocks, and that difference is a large part of the spread inside the Used chip. The Hybrid model uses a liquid cooler with a radiator, which changes how it mounts; check the photos and your case before assuming it's a drop-in replacement.

OEM cards. Cards pulled from prebuilt systems are titled with the system maker's name (Dell appeared in this feed). They're genuine 3080 Ti cards, but the cooler and warranty differ from retail partner cards. Ask where it came from.

Used vs refurbished vs new RTX 3080 Ti

Used is nearly the whole market. Inside Used, the spread comes from the board-partner model, whether the box is included, how clearly the seller says the card was tested, and cosmetic condition. One FTW3 Ultra in this feed was "painted white" by a previous owner; a repainted shroud is a cosmetic change, but it means the card has been disassembled, so ask what else was done at the same time.

Refurbished listings carry eBay's graded labels. None were present among the passing listings when this page was built, though refurbished-grade laptops using the mobile chip were common. If a refurbished desktop card appears, ask who did the refurbishment and what warranty comes with it.

New and Open box both appear but are a small minority for a card this far past its retail run. A "new" listing from a thin-history seller deserves the checks below before you treat it as sealed stock.

What this RTX 3080 Ti feed filters out, and why

Every pattern below showed up in the live listing data while this page's filter was being built.

Laptops and laptop boards sold under the desktop name. The single most expensive mistake on this search. Beyond the 16GB tell above, the laptop listings revealed themselves with refresh rates (165Hz, 360Hz, 480Hz), storage sizes, RAM sizes, "Win 11" and screen sizes in the title. This page excludes all of that vocabulary, which also removes the whole-PC listings below.

Whole systems. Gaming towers and prebuilts (MSI Trident, PowerSpec, NZXT, Alienware Aurora, custom builds) list under the GPU name because the GPU is the headline part. If a title names a CPU, system RAM or storage, you're looking at a computer.

Fans, coolers, backplates, boxes and cables carrying the model name. Replacement fan listings are the largest single group in the raw results. They are titled "For MSI RTX3080 3080Ti 3090 ..." and similar, cost a fraction of a card, and are excluded by title and by a price floor. Empty retail boxes ("EMPTY BOX", "BOX ONLY") and power cables also list under the full card name.

Dead and damaged cards. Some say so in the title: "For Parts ... Not Working", "Broken ... READ", "AS-IS". Two ZOTAC Trinity cards were listed under eBay's plain Used condition with "Bad Fans" and "Bad Left Fan" in the title, so the condition dropdown alone wasn't enough. This feed excludes them by title, by eBay's "For parts or not working" condition and by the price floor. If you browse eBay directly, read both the title and the condition field.

Bundles. One 3080 Ti was sold together with an external GPU dock and power supply. Bundles are excluded so the price table compares cards with cards.

Overseas listings and thin-history sellers. Cards shipping from Canada, China and Japan are excluded, and so are sellers below the feedback floor. Several plausibly priced Founders Edition and FTW3 cards fell out on seller history alone.

Mining. No passing listing mentioned it. The filter is written so that a seller who says "never mined" or "not a mining card" isn't rejected for using the word.

RTX 3080 Ti: before you buy

Any condition. Confirm in the item specifics that the GPU model is the RTX 3080 Ti and the memory size is 12GB. Confirm the exact board-partner model. Ask for photos of the actual card, including the I/O bracket and power connectors, not stock images. Confirm the seller accepts returns.

Power. Connector count and type vary between 3080 Ti models, and the Founders Edition uses a different arrangement from most partner cards. Check the connector against the specific model in the listing, confirm your power supply has the matching cables, and ask whether any adapter the card originally shipped with is included.

Used. This card sold through the crypto-mining boom, so ask directly how it was used and for how long. Ask whether it has ever been opened, repasted or re-padded, and whether the fans are original. Fan faults were the most common disclosed defect in this feed. A card serviced by someone who can tell you what they did is often a better buy than one nobody has looked at. One listing passed with "bracket rust" in the title; surface rust on the I/O bracket is cosmetic, but it suggests humid storage, so ask about the rest of the card.

Refurbished. Establish who did the refurbishment and what the warranty is. "Refurbished" with no warranty and no named refurbisher is really just "used".

New / Open box. For a sealed card this far past retail, check the seller's history and other listings, and ask for photos of the seal and the serial label. For open box, ask why it was opened and whether all accessories are present.

On price. Read the price table by condition bucket rather than anchoring on the single lowest number in the feed. A cheap listing is more often a less sought-after partner model, an OEM pull, or a card without its box than a bargain.
