Exact SKU identity. This page tracks the original RTX 4070 Ti with 12GB of memory. Two neighbours share most of the name: the plain RTX 4070, which also carries 12GB, and the RTX 4070 Ti Super, which is a different card with 16GB. The memory size alone does not separate this card from the plain 4070, so the "Ti" in the model name is the discriminator. Look for "Ti" and the absence of "Super" in the title, the item specifics and the photographed box or card label, and ask the seller for a photo of the card itself if they disagree. Variants and value impact. Board partner and cooler design change the asking price: premium partner lines tend to ask more than basic dual-fan models, and a card with its original box tends to ask more than one without. Cards pulled from prebuilt systems (a system brand in the title) are real 4070 Tis but come with a different warranty story than retail boards.

- Confirm whether the manufacturer warranty transfers. It varies by brand and is tied to the serial number.

- Find out who refurbished it (the manufacturer or a third party) and how long the warranty is.
- Ask what was replaced. A repaste and new pads is routine; a replaced core or memory is not.
New
- Check that the box is factory sealed and the serial on the box matches the card, so warranty registration works.
