The RX 7900 XTX is the top card of AMD's RX 7000 desktop range, and on eBay it behaves like a flagship: a lot of the listings that mention it aren't graphics cards at all. Whole gaming PCs, external GPU docks, replacement fans and water blocks all carry "RX 7900 XTX" in their titles because the card is the selling point. The card itself is also one letter away from a cheaper sibling.

This page filters a live eBay feed down to US sellers with a verified item location and established feedback. It requires the title to say "XTX", not just "7900", and it excludes salvage listings, accessories, docks, whole systems and multi-card lots. Use the condition chips to switch between Used, Refurbished and New. Prices in the table are asking prices from currently-active listings, not completed sales.

Which RX 7900 XTX you're actually buying

The desktop RX 7900 XTX is a 24GB GDDR6 card. That figure was confirmed from eBay's own item specifics on a card in this feed, which reported Memory Size: 24 GB, Memory Type: GDDR6 and Chipset/GPU Model: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX. Confirm the memory size in the listing's item specifics, not the title.

The RX 7900 XT is the sibling that matters

The RX 7900 XT (no second X) is a different, lower card from the same generation, with a smaller memory configuration of 20GB. Both share the string "7900", and many sellers of accessories write "7900 XT XTX" or "7900XT/7900XTX" in a single title. A 7900 XT listed with a careless title, or a search that just says "7900", will put the two cards side by side.

This feed requires the "XTX" token in every title and excludes listings that also name the 7900 XT, the RX 7900 GRE or the RX 7800 XT. The rule is written so it matches the separate word "XT", not the "XT" inside "XTX", which is why real XTX cards are not caught by it. When you shop eBay directly, check two things: the model name in the item specifics, and the memory size. A "7900 XTX" listing that reports 20GB of memory is a 7900 XT.

The RX 7900M is a mobile chip that shares the number. None turned up while this page was being tuned, but the feed excludes it, along with laptop and notebook listings, as a precaution.

Board partner and model

AMD's own Reference Edition card and a wide range of partner cards appear in this feed. Partner models seen while tuning include XFX (Speedster MERC 310, including the Black Edition), PowerColor (Hellhound, including white versions, and Red Devil), SAPPHIRE (NITRO+ Vapor-X, PULSE), ASUS (TUF Gaming OC), ASRock (Taichi, including a white version, and Creator), GIGABYTE (Gaming OC) and Yeston (Sakura). They differ in cooler design, physical size and clock behaviour.

Some details vary by model, so check them for the exact card instead of assuming:

• Confirm the power connector against the exact model in the listing, and confirm your PSU has the matching cables. Connector configuration varies between board partners and between models within one partner's range.
• Budget PSU headroom above the reference figure rather than trusting a number quoted for a different card. Check the card's length and slot width against your case too. This is a large card in most partner versions, and the bracket listings in the raw data were sold separately for 2-slot and 3-slot versions of the same Sapphire model.

Limited and promotional editions

Listings advertising Starfield and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora editions of the RX 7900 XTX turned up while tuning. Most asked far more than an ordinary card, and several were sold together with a Ryzen CPU. Bundles with a CPU are excluded from this feed. A card-only edition can appear if it falls inside the price band. If you're buying one for its collector value, confirm exactly what's in the box; if you just want a 7900 XTX, it is the same card at a premium.

Used vs refurbished vs new RX 7900 XTX

Used is most of this market. A gaming-used card from an owner who upgraded is the most common honest listing. One volume seller in this feed described its cards as "fully tested/recorded for stability" and said they ship as the card alone in an anti-static bag, with no box or accessories. That is normal for used cards, so ask what is included before comparing prices.

Refurbished covers eBay's graded condition labels: "Excellent - Refurbished", "Seller refurbished", "Certified - Refurbished" and similar all land in this chip. The grade is the refurbisher's own assessment, and the refurbisher is more often the seller than the manufacturer. Treat any warranty mentioned as a claim until you know who honours it.

New on this page also includes Open box, which for a component means unused but unsealed. When this page was built, every new, sealed RX 7900 XTX in the raw eBay data was located outside the US. Because the feed requires a US item location, the New chip may show only open-box cards at times. That reflects the domestic market, not a filter fault.

Prices in the three buckets overlap. Open-box cards can ask more than a healthy used card of the same model, and premium partner models (Taichi, NITRO+) ask more than entry models in every condition. Compare cards of the same model and condition, and don't anchor on the lowest number in the feed.

What this RX 7900 XTX feed filters out, and why it matters

Every pattern below came out of the live listing data while this page's filter was being built.

Whole gaming PCs. These were the single largest group of listings, roughly a third of everything eBay returned for the card. Most came from what looks like one or two system builders, listing many near-identical "Custom PC" and "Elite RGB PC" builds. They are excluded by system vocabulary (custom PC, barebones, gaming desktop, CPU names, DDR5, NVMe) and by the price ceiling.

External GPU docks. Dozens of identical eGPU dock listings name the RX 7900 XTX (and the RTX 4090) as compatible cards. They cost a fraction of a card and are excluded.

Accessories carrying the model name. Replacement cooling fans, fan covers, I/O bracket plates, support brackets, riser cables and aftermarket water blocks (Bitspower and Barrow were both present) all put "RX 7900 XTX" in their titles. Empty shipping boxes for the card are listed too.

Dead cards, and how they were labelled. Some say so in the title: "Junk", "Partially works", "HDMI Port Issue". One did not. A SAPPHIRE PULSE listing priced well below the rest of the market had an ordinary title, and the only sign it was broken was eBay's condition dropdown, set to "For parts or not working". This feed excludes that condition outright. If you browse eBay directly, read the condition field, not just the title.

Overseas listings. Many listings, including most of the new cards, were located in China or Canada. This page requires a verified US item location, so listings with a missing or non-US country are rejected.

Zero-feedback sellers. Listings that failed the feedback floor included a "Brand New In Box" card from a zero-feedback account with the brand name misspelled in the title, and a limited-edition card from another zero-feedback seller. The floor is set low enough to keep genuine private sellers with modest histories, but it blocks accounts with no history.

Mining didn't come up in any listing title for this card. The filter still excludes mining-card listings. It is written so that a seller's "never mined" disclaimer doesn't get the listing rejected for containing the word.

RX 7900 XTX: before you buy

Any condition. Confirm the board-partner model and that the item specifics say XTX and 24GB. Ask for photos of the actual card, including the I/O bracket and power connectors, not stock images. Confirm the seller accepts returns.

Used. Ask how long the seller owned the card, what it was used for, and whether it has been opened, repasted or had its thermal pads replaced. Ask directly about crashes, display dropouts, artifacting and fan noise. Fan faults show up in this feed's own titles. A card with a disclosed fan fault can still be a fair buy if the price reflects it, but price the repair before you bid.

Refurbished. Find out who did the refurbishment and what warranty comes with it. "Refurbished" with no named refurbisher and no warranty is just "used" with extra words.

New / Open box. For open box, ask why it was opened and whether the original accessories are included. For a sealed card, ask why it is still sealed and check the seller's other listings for duplicates of the same "new" item.

On price. At any moment, most of the spread on this page comes from condition, partner model and seller optimism, not hidden bargains. If a "7900 XTX" is priced well below everything else, check the condition dropdown first, then check that it really is an XTX and not an XT.
