The RTX 4070 is the desktop card from NVIDIA's RTX 40 series with 12GB of memory. It sits in a crowded search: on eBay, "RTX 4070" also matches the 4070 Super, the 4070 Ti, the 4070 Ti Super and a large number of gaming laptops. This page filters a live eBay feed down to US sellers with established feedback. It excludes the Super and Ti versions, laptops and whole desktop PCs, parts-only and broken cards, multi-card lots, and loose fans, cables and boxes. What's left is single desktop RTX 4070 cards.

Which RTX 4070 you're actually buying

"12GB" does not identify this card. The RTX 4070 Super and the RTX 4070 Ti also have 12GB, and all three list side by side with overlapping asking prices. The 4070 Ti Super is a fourth card again, with 16GB. So the memory size in a title won't tell you which card you're looking at. The model name will: check the title and the Chipset/GPU Model field in the item specifics for "Super" or "Ti". Spelling varies, so look for "4070S" and "4070Ti" run together as well. If either word appears anywhere, it's a different card from this one, and this feed excludes it.

Don't trust the item specifics blindly either. In the listings behind this page, that field was often blank, filled with a partner's model name ("GeForce RTX 4070 EX Gamer"), set to "Not Specified", or misspelled. Titles can be wrong in the other direction too: one listing sold a 4070 Super as an "8GB" card, which no desktop 4070 or 4070 Super is. If the title, the specifics and the photos don't agree, ask the seller before buying.

Memory type. Most listings say GDDR6X. A few say GDDR6. A GDDR6 listing isn't automatically a typo. If it matters to you, confirm the memory type in the item specifics and against the exact partner model number.

Board partners. NVIDIA's own Founders Edition shows up alongside partner cards from ASUS (Dual, TUF), Gigabyte (Windforce, Eagle), MSI (Ventus 2X, Ventus 3X, Gaming X Slim), PNY (XLR8, Verto), ZOTAC (Twin Edge) and GALAX (EX Gamer). They differ in cooler, physical size and clocks. Size in particular varies a lot, from compact two-fan cards to long three-fan ones, so check the specific model's dimensions against your case.

OEM pulls. Some cards come out of prebuilt desktops. In this feed they appear with a system brand in the title ("Lenovo NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070") or say "pulled from prebuild". They're genuine 4070s, but the cooler and warranty situation differ from retail cards, so ask where the card came from.

Used vs refurbished vs new RTX 4070

Used is most of this market. The spread within Used comes largely from the partner model and whether the original box is included, not only from condition.

Refurbished is thin for this card. Some sellers put "Factory Refurbished" in the title but list the card under eBay's "Used" condition, so it lands in the Used chip. Either way, ask who did the refurbishing (manufacturer or seller) and what warranty comes with it. A refurbished card with no named refurbisher and no warranty is really just used.

New and Open box both appear, from retail partner cards to the Founders Edition. Compare a "new" asking price against the Used table before paying extra for the seal. The gap between the two is what the seal is costing you.

What this RTX 4070 feed filters out, and why

Every pattern below showed up in the live listing data while this page's filter was being built.

Laptops. This is the biggest source of noise on this search, and the most expensive mistake. NVIDIA sells a laptop GPU also called "RTX 4070", and it's a different, lower-power part in a machine you can't pull it out of. Laptop listings outnumbered desktop cards in the raw data behind this page. Many are titled by laptop model (Legion, Zephyrus, Alienware, Razer Blade, Katana) rather than saying "laptop". The tell is the memory figure: laptop listings advertise 8GB for their RTX 4070. The desktop card has 12GB. Laptop motherboards with the GPU soldered on also list under this name.

Whole desktop PCs. Gaming towers and workstations with an RTX 4070 inside list under GPU searches because the GPU is the headline part. If the title also names a CPU, system RAM, storage or an operating system, it's a computer, not a card.

The Super and Ti cards. Covered above. This page excludes every listing whose title names either.

Parts and accessories carrying the card name. Replacement fans, power cables, laptop chargers, heatsinks and empty retail boxes all list under "RTX 4070". This feed removes them by title and with a price floor. It also excludes cards openly sold as broken, untested or for parts, and eBay's "For parts or not working" condition.

Multi-card listings. A few listings sell two different cards together, for example a 4070 with a card from another series. They're excluded, because the price covers more than one card.

RTX 4070: before you buy

Any condition. Confirm the exact partner model, not just "RTX 4070", and make sure the words "Super" and "Ti" appear nowhere. Ask for photos of the actual card, including the power connector and the I/O bracket, rather than stock images. Confirm the seller accepts returns.

Power. The power connector differs between 4070 models. Some use a standard 8-pin, and others use the newer 16-pin connector. Check the connector on the specific model in the listing, confirm your power supply has the matching cable or that the adapter is included, and leave headroom above the minimum power-supply rating for that model.

Used. Ask how the card was used, for how long, and whether it has ever been opened or re-pasted. Ask for a screenshot of a monitoring tool showing the card under load, or at least confirmation that it was tested in a working system before it was listed.

Refurbished. Establish who refurbished it and what the warranty is, as above.

New / Open box. Ask for photos of the seal and the serial label, and check the seller's history and other listings. For open box, ask why it was opened and whether every original accessory, including any power adapter, is in the box.

On price. Read the price table by condition bucket rather than anchoring on the single lowest number in the feed. A cheap listing is more often a less sought-after partner model, an OEM pull or a card without its box than a bargain on the same card.
