How we filter
Every feed has its own filter, tuned by hand for this one part. Before any change goes live, those filters are tested against thousands of real eBay listing titles. Every night, each feed is checked against every other deal page in its category, so a listing for a different part that slips in gets flagged and fixed instead of quietly shown.
Of the 33 listings we observed for this game in the last 30 days, we filtered out 22 of 33 (~67%) for quality reasons. The remaining 11 are what we'd actually surface.
- 18 matched a bootleg / out-of-scope keyword
- 2 seller had too few feedback ratings
- 1 caught by a junk-listing guard
- 1 shipped from a region we exclude
What the feed excludes
An eBay search for NVIDIA RTX A5000 24GB returns far more than the part itself: laptop chips, mining rigs, coolers, empty boxes and whole PCs all mention it in their titles. These are the 88 terms we filter out to keep this feed to the real thing. A listing whose title contains any of them never reaches the feed, the price table or an alert. Many look unrelated to NVIDIA RTX A5000 24GB because they are: that's the noise.

RTX A5000: buyer & reseller spec sheet
Exact SKU identity. The RTX A5000 is a professional workstation card with 24GB of GDDR6. Sellers also write it as "Quadro RTX A5000" or "RTXA5000"; those titles are the same product. This feed requires both A5000 and 24GB in the title. Some listings write "24 GB" with a space and fall out as a result. Confirm the memory size in the item specifics, not just the title.
Variants & value impact. Boards come in PNY retail packaging and in OEM versions from HP and Dell, and OEM listings carry their own part numbers. Both interleave across the price range, so price alone won't tell you which you have. If you plan to run the card outside the original machine, ask the seller whether they have tested it in a generic desktop. Ask what warranty, if any, transfers.
Listing traps.
- Laptop modules. The mobile RTX A5000 is a different chip in a different form factor, and it will not fit a desktop. This feed screens out laptop and mobile listings.
- Whole systems. HP Z-series and Dell Precision workstations were the largest single group of off-target results while this feed was tuned. They list the card in the title and carry system prices. The feed rejects titles naming server CPUs, drives or workstation model lines.
A neighbouring workstation card with its own page is the RTX A4000 16GB, which is a different, lower tier.
Buying a used graphics card: what to check
These checks apply to every card on our graphics-card pages. The item notes above cover what is specific to this model.
Used
- Ask for a screenshot of a monitoring tool (such as GPU-Z) showing the exact model and memory size, plus a stress test or benchmark run with temperatures visible.
- Ask whether the card was used for mining. Mining wear is mostly fans and thermal pads, which are fixable, but it should be disclosed and priced in.
- Check the photos for bent fins, missing screws, broken fan blades and damaged power connectors.
- Confirm whether the manufacturer warranty transfers. It varies by brand and is tied to the serial number.
Refurbished
- Find out who refurbished it (the manufacturer or a third party) and how long the warranty is.
- Ask what was replaced. A repaste and new pads is routine; a replaced core or memory is not.
New
- Check that the box is factory sealed and the serial on the box matches the card, so warranty registration works.
- Very low prices on "new" cards from new seller accounts are the most common scam on this category.
