- Release and carrier. Konami published Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist for the Sega Genesis in 1992 in North America. It is a plain ROM cartridge with no save feature, so there is no battery to fail. Check that the product code on the label matches the US release.
- Same-franchise Genesis games. The Genesis also has a Turtles fighting game. Sellers sometimes bundle or mislabel the two, so read the title for "Hyperstone Heist" rather than relying on "TMNT Genesis" alone.
- Title spelling. Sellers write it as "TMNT", "Ninja Turtles" or the full name, and some misspell it "TNMT". The feed accepts all of these.
