Soul Blazer (SNES) — Price Guide & Live Deals

Soul Blazer: collector & reseller spec sheet

• Release and save: Soul Blazer is Enix's 1992 action RPG for the Super Nintendo, developed by Quintet. It keeps progress on the cartridge, so the original save battery is a flat coin cell. Cells that old routinely fail, so budget for a battery swap whatever the seller says.
• Product code: Check that the label's product code matches the US release. Japanese copies are a different cart sold under the name Soul Blader, and they turn up in the same searches. This feed filters out the ones it can identify as Japanese.
• Print variants: Treat any claim of a "rare" or "first print" cart as unverified unless the seller shows the label and back of the cart. Ask for photos of both.
• Complete copies: Sellers often list a complete copy with the poster and instructions that came with the game. The poster is a real part of a complete copy. A standalone poster, map or insert is only a piece, so check that the title says the game is included.
• Listing traps: Titles that say "Soul Blader" are Japanese. Items sold as a "box only", "card only" or "insert only" are not the game. Read the title for "cart only" before you assume the game comes with a box.

Soul Blazer is the first game in the Quintet trilogy, followed by Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma. Sellers use the series name in titles, so check which game a listing actually offers.
