Gradius III: collector & reseller spec sheet
- Release: Konami's Gradius III reached the US SNES in 1991. It is a different game from the NES Gradius and from Life Force; sellers mix the titles up, so check the console in the listing.
- Save mechanism: none that we state here. Check the product code on the label matches the US release rather than relying on a seller's claim.
- Print variants: early-run and later prints may exist; if a seller names a specific print as a premium, ask for a photo of the label and compare it to a known authentic copy before paying extra.

- Check that the box and manual are the same region and print as the cart. Mixed-and-matched "complete" copies are common.
- Box wear (crushing, tears, sticker residue) moves price far more than the cart does. Judge it from photos, not from the word "mint".
Sealed & graded
- For a graded copy, look the certification number up on the grading company's own site and confirm the photos match the slab you are buying.
- For an ungraded sealed copy, compare the wrap and seal pattern against a known factory-sealed example. Resealing is common, and a reseal on a loose game is worth a loose price.
- Ask for photos of every side, the seams and any price stickers. Refusing extra photos on a sealed listing is a red flag on its own.
