- Full title. The US release is Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (1995). Sellers drop the subtitle, spell it "Diddys" or "Diddy Kong's", or write only "DKC2". The feed matches either the "Country 2" or "Kong Quest" wording.
- Battery save. The cartridge saves progress to battery-backed memory. The original save battery is a flat coin cell, and cells this old routinely fail, so budget for a battery swap regardless of seller claims. "Tested, saves" in a title is a plus, not a guarantee.
- Print variants. An original retail print and a later Player's Choice budget reprint exist. Original-print boxes generally ask more; check the box photos before paying a premium.

- For an ungraded sealed copy, compare the wrap and seal pattern against a known factory-sealed example. Resealing is common, and a reseal on a loose game is worth a loose price.
